NYF SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

NYF does offer a payment installment option for both flag and tackle, but if this is still not an option for you, we do offer up to 5 tackle and 5 flag partial scholarships a season.

Tackle (in-district players are awarded first) and Flag scholarships are on a first come, first serve basis. 

Please complete the application below and email to nelsonyouthfootballleague@gmail.com PRIOR to registering your player.  We will not accept scholarship applications later than,  June 30th, 2025.

If your player’s assigned high school is not Nelson High School, you will need to complete a transfer/waiver request and have it approved by Tualatin Valley Youth Football (TVYFL) prior to registering. If your player’s assigned high school is Clackamas High School and you would like to play for Nelson Youth Football, you still need to complete a transfer/waiver request and vice versa for a Nelson player wanting to play for Clackamas Youth Football. Nelson and Clackamas players do NOT get to pick and choose. Please do not register your player until you have received a final approval decision from TVYFL. Please note that if your player attends private school or homeschool, then residence address determines your home program.  If you live outside of the Nelson HS district, then a waiver is required. 

Our flag football program is not run under the TVYFL umbrella, but we do follow the same criteria on school boundaries and are a feeder program to our local high school.  Therefore, only those that reside in the Nelson High School boundaries or attend a feeder elementary school or Happy Valley Middle School are eligible to play for our program.  However, if you live outside of the Nelson High School district and want to play flag football for Nelson Youth Football, please contact our Registrar to see if a waiver is required or not.  Please email us at nelsonyouthfootballleague@gmail.com prior to registering.
